A layer of method restrictions, IP-based rate limiting and bot filtering runs in front of your site; attack traffic is separated from customer traffic and blocked. The payment infrastructure detects and throttles bursts of failed card attempts. Fake sites that copy your pages to another domain become useless: the visitor is redirected to your real site. Card payments go through 3D Secure, and charging the same order twice is prevented at the infrastructure level.
